The major difference between virus and mycoplasma is only its protein capsid or outer shell.In virus capsid is available so that it contains a fixed shape and size and thats the main reason to fight them easily by our bodily immune system simultaneously easy task to find a correct medicine to cure or kill to virus. But when we talk about mycoplasma, that looks like virus and have no capsid, due to that it can convert its shape ,size and attacking modes on any living cell.
